Studio 121 photography is a unique and refreshing Geelong based photographic studio owned by photographer Andrew Sanigorski. I initially began my love of photography as a teenager learning everything I could. This led me to taking over the laundry as I processed and printed my own colour and black and white images much to my mother’s dismay. I created works in fine art landscape photography which I am just as passionate today as it was then.

 

Many years ago I was asked by a friend to photograph their wedding and while honoured and nervous the results were fantastic, my friends loved their images and today I work with some great couples creating wonderful albums and images. A natural extension to weddings became portrait photography which I love. Photographing families, kids with dirty knees or just ones with too much energy is fantastic. I love catching a glimpse or moment that becomes a wonderful memento.

 

Having worked as a photographer for a while I thought I better go to school and attended Photographic Studies College in Melbourne. It was here that I realised I knew quite a lot, but more importantly was introduced to the world of commercial photography, architecure and editorial lifestyle photography.

 

So you need a photographer but am I right for you?

If you want someone who is passionate, nearly to the point of obsession then yes let’s talk. My versatility is a huge advantage whether you require product photography, a challenging industrial shoot or coverage for the most important day of your life. Versatile doesn’t mean a jack of all trades but master of none. Contrary to this belief my images have won awards at the Australian Institute of Professional Photography awards in Commercial, Architecture, Portraiture and Landscape categories.
